Song: Beans On Toast - I Shot Tupac Shakur
If you're someone who remembers Goatse... check out this. A Goatse iPod case. Lovely.

Oh wow, Susie Dent is from Woking. How very exciting!
I'm watching a programme on VH1 about the Spice Girls. It's most enjoyable. I miss them. :(
It's a shame that Victoria turned out the way she did, I feel. And apparently Emma is 30 now! Good lord.
Apparently as many people in the last two months have died from post war violence in Iraq, as were killed in 9/11. Isn't that just lovely?

Today, while watching Countdown, I got a 9. Oh yes I did! "Eavesdrop", mmhmm. The two contestants got an 8, or a 6, but *I* got a 9!
That's all for today.

So, after saying I wouldn't yesterday, today I decided to go a bit further with 'Til The Day. Yesterday's one was a bit rushed, in both recording and the playing. So here it is, nearly the whole song, couldn't be bothered to put a proper ending on it, as without vocals it was getting a bit repetative.
'Til The Day
*edit* So, I recently discovered "abc", which appears to be the LaTeX of the sheet music world. So I decided to have a crack at writing the sheet music for 'Till The Day, as I was playing it. It's not complete, and whether or not it will ever be complete depends on how much documentation on abc I can find. So click here for the sheet music for, I think all the piano parts of easyworld's "'Til The Day". No, it's not official, it is only my interpretation. Also, it is for educational purposes only... and all that legal bollocks.
Oh, and in other news... I know it's wrong, and horrible, but I actually quite like some Girls Aloud songs. I was watching them on VH1 today. Some where dreadful, some were really nice. There wasn't much inbetween. Anyway, gotta dash.

Song: Easyworld - 'Til The Day
So, following the comment from Mary the other day, I thought about it some more and thought, "What if I actually did try 'Til The Day"?
So last night/early this morning I went off to the old Easyworld forum, and the ever impressive Flynn had put up two posts. One with just the chords, and one of a guitar tab for it. I thought, this is enough for me to get started! So I set to work... I grabbed my guitar, and worked out the notes from the tab, and then set about working out the timing of the notes. It was this that actually took the longest. Y'see, I thought I had it, spent about an hour practicing it, and then tried to play over the MP3 of the song only to realise I had it completely wrong.
Anyway, this morning I continued, and eventually got it to a satisfactory level. So here's a recording:
It's not exactly the same as the original, I am aware. Sadly my ear's not good enough to work it out all though. There's a few places where I'm only playing one note at a time in my right hand, but Dav(id) was playing 2. I need to work on this a bit more. This aside, I'm actually quite pleased with how it came out. :)
"And I'd gladly put up with your shit 'till the day that I die"

Song: Easyworld - 'Til The Day
I've not updated this in a while, but a lot has happened. I'm not really in the mood to write a lot at the moment, but here's some things.
We have a Sky+ box now, it's the best thing in the world and everyone home should have one. I am very obsessed, and can't help it.
I realised I've quite possibly watched more films in the last six months than in the last six years.
I was speeding down this road between my house and Woking, and round a corner was a Police van doing speed checks. My heart sank, and I was very scared. They didn't pull me over, and as of yet, no speeding fine in the post.
Managed to incite my old friend, tendonitis, in my left hand again, I know the signs quite early on now. But it's so annoying all the same. I was going to take a photo actually, as I amused myself with it. Basically with both arms extended vertically infront of me, and both hands bent backwards as far as they will do. My right hand went to about 2, or 2:30 ish on a clock face as normal, but my left hand was stuck at barely 11, not down at 10 to match the other one. I'm such a cripple.
I've played far too much Cluedo recently. Also one game of Monopoly and one game of Scrabble which both made me angry. Apparently I'm not a very good loser of board games.
Not long left until uni now... I'm still not sure if I'm looking foward to it or not. I miss GMP.
Oh, my brother has been into and out of hospital. He survived, all is well.
I saw "Mr and Mrs Smith", after wanting to see it ever since it first came out. I was quite disppointed with it though. The first 90 minutes were good, but then the ending was just rubbish. I was quite upset, as I thought it was going to all be as good as the first 90 minutes were.
Oooh! And I have *finally*, after ages, seen "The Butterfly Effect". That was possibly the best film I've seen in the last six months. I think everyone should be required to watch it... right after their Sky+ box has been installed.
